Mike Graham brings the perfect mix of energy, cheek, and big tunes to Drivetime. After 15 years in hospital and community radio in Sunderland, he’s mastered the art of keeping listeners entertained even when the traffic isn’t. Before radio, Mike spent 1984 to 2010 as a club DJ, eventually becoming Head of Music for Taz Leisure Group and Granada Nightclubs — meaning he’s programmed more nights out than most people have had hot dinners. Listeners often call him good looking — Mike agrees, but his wife gets final say. On air he’s sharp, warm, and always ready with a story from the club days that probably shouldn’t be repeated.
